Checklist 3/4: Produce an Engineering Diagram and Include Relevant Standards and Symbols Ect...

We will be starting and completing section 3/4 of Assignment 1. This will consist of taking a real part, measuring it and then creating a drawing of it with all the relevant notation.

There will be 4 machined parts supplied. You have the choice to pick one and workout the dimensions of said part with various measuring devices and then create a drawing to match. It doesn’t have to be at ISO standard but we expect a neat drawing created on a drawing board with all the relevant information for manufacture.

These drawings will tick of the following criteria:

• Produce an engineering diagram.

• Include relevant standards, symbols and conventions in the engineering diagram.
