For this part of the checklist if you’ve chosen to do a job report you’ll need to produce a word document that is similar to the job reports you would have done for the workshop sessions, I would recommend carrying this out on the part you have used in the other examples to keep it straight forward.

I’ll be looking for how clean the formatting is and the content within the job report. This unit is about communication so focus on that.

What the job report will need to include:

  • Your name and date

  • The name of the part

  • Basic health and safety

  • Tools Needed (PPE included)

  • Quick plan of operations

  • Time taken to complete job
